For nearly 100 years this hall has been utilized
by a variety of community, businesses and
social organizations. A sample of the many
mentioned in historic Board meeting minutes
include: Little Garden Club of Salem Heights,
Salem Heights School, Boy and Girl Scouts,
Republican and Democratic parties,
Pentacle Theater, Salem Transit, Italian Club,
Salem Women’s Club, South Salem Saddle
Club, PTA, Salem Chrysanthemum Society,
American Cancer Society, AA, Hardy Plant
Society, Soroptimist International of Salem,
South Salem Lions club, and Salem Heights
Improvement League.
A popular spot for social events, Salem
Heights hall is used regularly for weddings
and receptions, class reunions, milestone
celebrations, family parties, holiday bazaars,
social club fund-raisers, dance practice and
instruction, school carnivals, art shows, farmers’
market and much more.
